We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team at ResCare Community Living as a Direct Support Professional.

About the Role:

• This is an exciting opportunity to work in a group home, providing support to individuals who need assistance with daily living due to an intellectual, developmental or cognitive disability.
• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and be able to foster positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates.
• Responsibilities will include performing personal care tasks, ensuring client safety, and maintaining a safe environment.
• The successful candidate will also accompany clients to scheduled appointments and encourage self-help activities.

Key Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to work in a group home, home-like setting
• Ability to communicate (verbally and written) with all levels of personnel, internal and external
