The IV Operations Manager works closely with VP of Internal Operations to support the development and implementation of pharmacy policy. The manager provides support to assure consistent IV Operations.
Our Pharmacy group focuses on providing exceptional customer service and meeting the pharmacy needs for hospitals, rehabilitation hospitals, long-term acute care hospitals, and other specialized care centers nationwide.
An ideal candidate, a Registered Pharmacist, would have strong leadership skills with experience in

This position is a remote opportunity with approximately 15% travel. Applicants can reside anywhere within the Continental USA.

- Collaborates and maintains IV admixture policies and procedures in compliance with USP <797>, USP <800>, and other relevant regulations
- Establishes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for IV admixture preparation, storage, and dispensing
- Works with the VP of Internal Operations and Compliance to review, revise, and write SOP's related to IV dispensing practice required to comply with state board rules/regulations and issues found during inspections by pharmacy boards
- Develops training for pharmacy staff on aseptic techniques and IV preparation processes
- Collaborates with Applications Management and Corporate Training teams in maintenance and updating of training resources for Framework IV and ECM applications
- Serves as a subject matter expert and resource for ongoing staff education and competency assessments
- Identifies, centrally tracks, and monitors staff training and equipment management required to support quality IV preparation (Examples - Media Fill Testing, Clean Room Certification)
- Participates as a member of the Medication Safety Committee
- First-line operational and clinical resource to field and internal operations teams for pharmacy needs related to IV dispensing
- Collaborates with pharmacy operations teams to optimize workflows for IV preparation and delivery
- Troubleshoots and resolve issues related to IV admixture processes
- Assists in the selection and maintenance of IV admixture equipment and supplies
- Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of pharmacy information systems and technology to consistently meet or exceed customer's needs through effective continuous quality improvement practices in all areas including IV admixture
- Maintains detailed records of IV admixture activities, staff training, and environmental monitorin
- Prepares reports for internal stakeholders and regulatory bodies as required
