Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Providing personal care tasks, such as feeding, ambulation, and medical monitoring, to ensure the health and well-being of our clients
- Fostering positive relationships between individuals served and their housemates, promoting a sense of community and belonging
- Ensuring client safety and maintaining a safe environment by implementing and adhering to established safety protocols
- Encouraging self-help activities, empowering clients to develop essential life skills and independence
- Accompanying clients to scheduled appointments, providing transportation and emotional support
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Be at least 18 years old and possess a valid driver's license
- Able to work in a group home or home-like setting, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders
