">Job Overview:
This full-time position involves working under the supervision of the Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to fulfill clinical and administrative responsibilities.
">- Develop and implement clinical and administrative strategies to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Collaborate with non-physician practitioners and other interprofessional team members to deliver high-quality complex and geriatric care to residents and patients across various settings.
- Support physician assistants and nurse practitioners in their clinical roles by collaborating with them, on average 5 but up to 15, to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Regularly audit up to 10% of practitioner medical orders and/or documentation for each provider monthly to ensure compliance with state and regional regulatory frameworks.
- Assume medical directorships for skilled and/or other senior living facilities if needed, ensuring that these facilities receive exceptional support and guidance.
- Identify new growth opportunities with skilled facilities and/or other senior living facilities in the market/region to expand our reach and improve patient outcomes.
- Participate in company frontline/backup call processes for timely response to acute changes of condition to prevent avoidable hospital transfers or meet other clinical needs.
- Focus on quality outcomes, including care path compliance, productivity, prevention of avoidable transfers, decrease in polypharmacy, and costs of care.
