You are who we are looking for! Brightstar care is currently looking for Home Health Aides to support individuals in their quest to remain independent. Tasks may include assistance with shopping, assistance with personal care, light housekeeping and assisting with transportation to various appointments. Shifts range from 4 hrs.to 12 hrs. A variety of clients are looking for you! Create your perfect schedule based on your current availability and skill level.

We ensure our Home Health Aides have the skills they need to be successful in caring for our clients through competency demonstration in our on-site simulation lab. We also offer client-specific skill enhancement opportunities in the home when indicated. Necessary personal protective equipment is provided so that you can feel confident and safe when you care for your clients.
Requirements:
● High School Diploma or GED
● Ability to obtain BLS CPR certification.
● Recent wellness exam and negative TB skin test.
● Ability to pass a comprehensive fingerprint/background check and drug screening.
● Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information.
● Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
● Valid Driver’s license in good standing and Active auto insurance.
● Previous caregiver/HHA or related healthcare experience preferred. Baseline skills are required and will be verified in our skills competency lab.
