Per Diem Infusion RN Home Care

Overview & Introduction:
BrightStar Care of Maple Grove and Andover is a provider of home healthcare services dedicated to providing a higher standard of care. We are seeking two experienced Per Diem Infusion Nurses (RN) to join our dedicated team. This flexible, per diem position will provide infusion therapy to patients in the comfort of their own homes. The ideal candidates will have expertise in infusion care, strong clinical assessment skills, and a passion for delivering outstanding patient care in a home health settings.

Pay: $45.00 - $48.00 per hour

In this position, there would be one RN assigned to cover each territory (see below):

Candidate A: Maple Grove & Surrounding Areas | Candidate B: Andover and Surrounding Areas

RN Key Responsibilities:

• Administer intravenous (IV) infusions, medications, and fluids to patients in their homes, following established clinical guidelines and protocols.
• Monitor patients during infusion treatments, assess for any adverse reactions, and ensure overall safety and comfort.
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and physical conditions, to plan and deliver appropriate infusion therapy.
• Educate patients and their families about the infusion process, self-care, and the potential side effects of treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians, home health aides, and other healthcare providers to deliver personalized, patient-centered care.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting all treatments, assessments, and any changes in patient condition

RN Qualifications:

• Current and valid Minnesota RN License
• Previous experience in home health care or home infusion therapy
• Knowledge of infusion therapy techniques, devices, and medications
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work independently in client homes
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in infusion therapy, preferably in a home health care or outpatient setting
• CPR and BLS certification required or willingness to take it through company
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and support patients and families
• Ability to manage multiple cases and provide flexible, patient-focused care
• Compassionate, dependable, and dedicated to improving patient outcomes
