*Job Summary*
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being while adhering to all health and safety regulations, including HIPAA guidelines. This role is vital in enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalized care and assistance.
*Duties*
- Provide personal care services such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting assistance.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor clients for any side effects or changes in condition.
- Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients.
- Help clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring them safely.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry, cleaning, and maintaining a safe living environment.
- Assist with catheter care and other specialized health needs as required.
- Document care provided and report any changes in the client's condition to the supervising nurse or healthcare provider.
- Foster a supportive relationship with clients, encouraging independence while providing necessary assistance.
*Experience*
- Previous experience in home community care or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Familiarity with medication administration procedures and basic health care practices.
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain client confidentiality.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with lifting and assisting clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is a plus but not mandatory.

Pay: $19.98 - $20.55 per hour
