BrightStar Care of Novi is seeking an operations focused leader to join our team! The Area Care Services Director will lead, manage, and hold all office and field staff accountable to deliver consistent, safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to each client. The Area Care Services Director is responsible for overall territory and office operations and is accountable for all personnel. BrightStar is looking for a self-driven, high-energy individual to lead a highly motivated team of home health care employees, clinical, sales and and office staff. Responsibilities:
- Client and customer care – effectively manage the customer care managers (CCMs), schedulers, and all customer/client relations
- Recruitment – oversee the recruiting process and assist with implementation and execution of active, ongoing recruitment strategies to attract the best field staff and branch office staff
- Payroll, scheduling, billing– Supports and uses all technology tools and resources to ensure proper business processes
- Accreditation and compliance – enforces and maintains all Joint Commission accreditations standard of excellence and complies with all federal, state, and local regulations, as well as employment laws and practices
- Provide support to the Sales Team – assist with sales visits, initial inquiries, marketing events and other community needs to drive the business
- Assist with on-call for emergency staffing, or urgent branch matters outside of normal business hours.
Requirements
- High School Diploma required
- Associates and/or Bachelor Degree in Business Management or Administration; may substitute Degree requirement with a combination of education/experience; and minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising multiple departments (Branch Management, Care Coordination or similar) and/or managing sales, customer service, and human resources functions within an office setting.
- 1-2 years sales management experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Valid state required proof of full coverage auto insurance
- Management experience within a healthcare environment with supervision of direct caregivers, LPNs, CNAs, and RNs is highly desired.
