BrightStar Care of Santa Barbara believes that quality care starts with happy caregivers and we'd love for you to join our team, providing high quality, compassionate, in-home care.
We're currently looking for experienced caregivers in the Greater Santa Barbara area from Goleta to Carpinteria to provide high quality, compassionate care on an on-call basis.
In this role you'll receive guaranteed on-call pay while remaining available to provide relief coverage for shift callouts and last minute schedule changes.
You should have at least one year of extensive, hands-on, experience in home health care. On-call shifts are scheduled based on your days of availability and we have weekday and weekend shifts available.
*The on-call caregiver must be able and willing to provide exceptional care for any client residing between Carpinteria and Goleta, within 1 hour of notice during their scheduled on-call shifts.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Reliable, Insured Transportation
- Valid Driver's License
- Minimum of 1 year experience
- CPR Certification
- Must live in the Santa Barbara area
- Clean criminal and driving history (HCA Registration will be required)
- Must be available On-Call 7am-7pm at least one day of the between Monday - Friday
- Must be 18yrs of age or older

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Monitor and report changes in clients' health status to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Support clients with medication reminders and adherence as per care plans.
- Maintain a clean and organized living environment for clients.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities and companionship to enhance their quality of life.
Pay: $26.00 per hour
