BrightStar Care of Schaumburg is hiring immediately and looking for Licensed Practical Nurses to join our team. At BrightStar Care, we provide uplifting care for seniors and older adults who require a helping hand, a supportive companion, and day-to-day assistance.

LPN Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care for patients in schools, skilled rehab and assisted living facilities
- Administer mediations/treatments according to physician orders
- Administer tracheostomy and enteral feedings
- Document according to standards of practice and policy
- Proactively update client/patient’s family on plan of care, health changes and any concerns
- Work as a team player to provide the highest quality care
LPN Requirements:
- Current unrestricted Illinois LPN License
- Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Minimum one year experience in adult, geriatric or pediatric nursing
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile
- Self-directing with the ability to work with little direct supervision
- Empathy for the needs of the client
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English and communicate effectively
- Treats clients, staff and the public with courtesy, respect and presents a positive public image.
- Works as a team member.
- Ensures confidentiality and security of the client’s medical information.
- Must be able to stand walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client. Must be able to lift to 50 pounds
