Responsibilities include:
- Assisting with personal care (such as bathing, dressing, ambulation, and transfers)
- Assist client with active and passive mobility work and report changes to director of nursing
- Take and record height, weight, and vital signs as needed
- Create and promote a safe, positive work environment and ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ensure clients’ rights are adhered to
Requirements include:
- Active certification as a certified nursing assistant in the state of Illinois
- 1 year of experience as a caregiver/home health aide
- Valid CPR certificate
- Negative drug screen and motor vehicle screening
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
