- 1 year of documented professional experience as a caregiver or current CNA/HHA certification
- IDPH registered
- Can pass a criminal background check and a drug screen

CNA Responsibilities
- Various personal care services as needed to fulfill the needs of the client or patient
- Providing assistance with daily tasks such as feeding, meal preparation, linen changes, light housekeeping, transportation to doctor visits, outside activities, and shopping, among others.
- Assisting client with active and passive mobility work defined by the plan of care, and documenting observed changes to the Director of Nursing
CNA Requirements
- Minimum one (1) year of documented caregiver, home care assistance experience is required
- GED or high school diploma
- Must be registered with the Illinois Health Care Worker Registry
- Ability to work weekends is required.
- CPR certification (AHA and ARC ONLY)
- Physical and negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
- Licensed driver with insured and reliable automobile with proof of insurance
- Ability to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pull are all required. Depending on the client's mobility, several types of help are required. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is required.
