Are you a detail-oriented and organized individual with a passion for helping others? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you with Brightstar Care of Charlottesville. We are seeking an Administrative Specialist to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing top-quality healthcare services to our community. As an Administrative Specialist, you will be responsible for various administrative tasks, including managing schedules, organizing documents, coordinating meetings, and providing administrative support to our team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our organization. You will have the opportunity to work closely with healthcare professionals and contribute to improving the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain files and documents electronically and physically
- Provide administrative support to various departments
- Answer and route phone calls and emails
- Prepare and distribute correspondence, memos, and reports
- Works with sensitive information with discretion to maintain confidentiality and security and ensure compliance with privacy policies and regulations
- Answers phone calls and directs callers to appropriate personnel, schedules appointments, signs for incoming packages, and assists clients and other visitors
- Manages new clients and teammates' first meetings
- On- call
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of administrative experience, preferably in a healthcare setting
- Knowledgeable in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Knowledge of medical terminology is a plus
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems is a plus

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
