BrightStar Care Emerson is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled LPN or RN to provide one-on-one care for a student with special needs requiring aspiration and seizure precautions. Position Overview:
The LPN / RN will work directly with the student, ensuring safety, administering medical treatments, and assisting with daily living tasks as needed. If you’re a licensed LPN looking to utilize your skills in a school or pediatric setting, this role is for you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide one-on-one care for a student with aspiration and seizure precautions.
- Administer medications and treatments as per care plans.
- Assist with daily living tasks while ensuring a safe and compassionate environment.
- Monitor the student’s health and promptly address any medical needs.
Qualifications:
- Active LPN or RN license in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience (preferably in a school or pediatric setting).
- Experience with aspiration and seizure precautions.
- Current CPR certification.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.

Location: Emerson, NJ
Pay: From $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 per week
