Overview
BrightStar Care of Leesburg has expanded into West Virginia and we are currently seeking reliable and passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our growing team of Healthcare professionals.
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide overnight care for a 17-year-old female with trach, vent, and G-tube needs. This is an ideal role for an experienced LPN who is compassionate, reliable, and enjoys working in a relaxed home environment.
The client is non-verbal and requires all in-bed care, including Q2 turning and repositioning. She loves Disney Channel, and her care routine is straightforward, with Dad offering flexibility as long as her needs are fully met.
Schedule: 7 Nights a Week, Monday through Sunday from 11 PM - 7 AM
Responsibilities:
- Perform trach/vent care and monitoring during the night
- Administer G-tube feedings and medication as needed
- Turn and reposition every 2 hours (Q2) to ensure comfort
- Monitor and respond to any changes in her condition
- Document care provided during the shift
Qualifications:
- Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – current and valid license required
- Experience with trach/vent and G-tube care preferred
- Compassionate, patient, and detail-oriented caregiver
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
