Registered Nurse (RN) Responsibilities :
- Provide 1 : 1 care in the patient’s home completing infusion visits, reassessments, Wound Care, Nurse Education, and other administrative duties.
- Implement treatment and plan of care using sound judgment and critical thinking.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation consistent with the care plan and nursing processes.
- Perform all skills, treatments, and procedures to the scope of practice defined in the Nurse Practice Act in the state of clinical practice and adhere to the company policy, procedures, and protocols.
Wound Assessment and Management and Infusion Therapy Administration
Conduct thorough assessments of wounds, including wound, appearance, size, depth, and characteristics.Identify factors contributing to delayed wound healing and develop appropriate treatment plans.Cleanse and dress wounds as prescribed, while using aseptic techniques.Apply dressings, topical medications, and other wound care products as prescribed.Monitor wound healing progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly and educate patients on wound care techniques, prevention strategies, and signs of complications.Administer intravenous (IV) medications, fluids, and other therapies as prescribed by physicians.IVIG experience necessaryEnsure the proper selection, insertion, and maintenance of vascular access devices (e.g., peripheral IV lines, central venous catheters).Monitor patients during infusion therapy for adverse reactions, complications, and educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy procedures, potential side effects, and self-care measures.We also offer a variety of short skilled skilled visits such as wound care, sticks, tech and trains, etc...Here are some of the perks

An unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state where care is providedMinimum of (1) year nursing experienceIVIG Experience requiredExcellent problem-solving skills and organizational and multi-tasking skillsIn-depth knowledge of health and safety guidelines and procedures (sanitation, decontamination, etc.) and willingness to follow them at all timesValid Driver's License, Auto Insurance, BLS CPR card, and an up-to-date TB skin test or Chest X-RayMust be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push, and pullMust be able to lift or transfer up to 50 poundsCandidate must have demonstrated alignment and experience in successfully living the BrightStar Care Core Values :
