Position Overview :
Brightstone Therapy is excited to offer undergraduate practicum opportunities for students interested in pursuing careers in behavior analysis, psychology, or related fields. This practicum provides hands-on experience in behavior analysis, with a structured training program that includes completion of the Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) coursework. At the end of the practicum, students will be eligible to sit for the RBT exam , preparing them for immediate entry into the field of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), if desired.
Practicum students will work under the supervision of experienced Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), gaining essential skills in behavior intervention, data collection, and client care in the clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities :
- Complete the RBT 40-hour training coursework as part of the practicum.
- Assist in implementing individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA and RBTs.
- Collect, record, and analyze data on client behaviors to monitor progress and outcomes.
- Observe the development and implementation of skill acquisition programs and behavior reduction strategies.
- Participate in clinical team meetings to review client progress and treatment plans.
- Maintain ethical standards and ensure client confidentiality at all times.
