Job Overview:
We’re hiring a Solar Inspection Technician with electrical experience to inspect, ensure compliance, and address issues during solar system inspections when needed. This hands-on role requires your own tools and a reliable vehicle. Starting pay is $25/hour, with mileage reimbursement provided.
What You’ll Do:
- Inspect residential and commercial solar systems for safety and code compliance.
- Fix issues on-site to ensure systems pass inspections the same day.
- Test and verify wiring, inverters, panels, and grounding systems.
- Commission solar systems to ensure proper functionality.
- Document inspection results with notes and photos.
- Communicate inspection results and next steps with the team.
- Follow safety standards and comply with AHJ regulations.
What You Need:
- Electrical experience (solar experience is a plus!!).
- Your own tools for troubleshooting and electrical work.
- A reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided).
- Ability to resolve corrections during inspections.
- Basic knowledge of NEC and local building codes.
