The Medical Director, Physician Assistant Studies Program, reports directly into the Program Dean for Chamberlain University’s new Physician Assistant (PA) Program. The Medical Director is actively involved in the PA program. He / she will support the Program Director in ensuring that both didactic instruction and supervised clinical practice experiences meet current practice standards as they relate to the PA role in providing patient care. The Medical Director will be instrumental in forging relationships with clinical sites in close partnership with the MPAS Executive Dean and Program Director. He / she will be actively involved in recruitment and development of clinical sites for supervised clinical practice experiences as well as providing instruction. He / she will also be involved in evaluating student performance and will assist the Program Director and faculty in the design, implementation and evaluation of the curriculum and the program.
This is a part-time, onsite role at the Richmond campus contributing approximately 8 hours per week.
