We are currently seeking a Lead Server who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and fostering a warm, welcoming environment for residents, guests, and staff.
Position Summary
As the Lead Server, you will be responsible for overseeing dining services, ensuring a high standard of hospitality, and mentoring dining room staff. You will play a key role in providing an outstanding dining experience while maintaining Brightwater’s service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide courteous and efficient meal service to residents and guests.
- Oversee and train dining staff to maintain service excellence.
- Conduct routine staff meetings and training sessions.
- Ensure compliance with food safety and service regulations.
- Monitor and enforce standards for staff performance and customer service.
- Address and resolve any service-related concerns in a professional manner.
- Assist in dining room setup for daily meals, social functions, and special events.
- Maintain accurate POS transactions and process payments.
- Foster a positive dining environment by creating meaningful interactions with residents.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, senior living, or food service required.
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal and written).
- Ability to operate POS systems and handle transactions accurately.
- Food handler’s permit required (or ability to obtain one).
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations.
