What You’ll Do
- Manage & oversee all maintenance operations, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Ensure the upkeep of building exteriors, interiors, walkways, and landscaping for a pristine environment.
Monitor & complete preventative maintenance tasks, ensuring safety and efficiency.
Perform emergency repairs & respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner.
Oversee life safety systems and conduct regular fire and emergency drills.
Maintain compliance with all safety, building, and health regulations.
Coordinate with external contractors & vendors for larger maintenance projects.
Lead and train maintenance team members, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
Assist with transportation duties, overseeing community bus maintenance and compliance.
Communicate with the Executive Director, keeping them informed of maintenance needs and improvements.
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent (required).
2 years of verifiable maintenance experience in areas like HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.
Strong leadership & organizational skills—able to manage a team and prioritize tasks.
Experience with tools & equipment used in construction, maintenance, and landscaping.
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve facility-related issues efficiently.
Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, staff, and vendors.
CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain).
Meet state or provincial health & safety requirements.
