What are the responsibilities and job description for the Float Pool CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant FLEX PRN position at Brightwater (South Carolina)?
Brightwater is now accepting applications for Float Pool FLEX PRN CNAs to work Days or Nights. This role provides care to our residents in Skilled Nursing, Assisted Living or Memory Care and assists residents with activities of daily living. The FLEX role commutes to Brightwater (Myrtle Beach) or Lakes at Litchfield (Pawley's Island) campuses on an "as needed" basis. The "HOME" community is Brightwater, but in this role, you will work at either campus and in any level of care as needed and assigned. This includes SNF, AL or Memory Care. Must be "on call" at least 2 weekend days per mo. (a Friday, Saturday, or Sunday) work at least 16 hours per mo. Must be certified as a CNA. Due to travel required, bonuses offered : Fuel Surcharge : $20 PER shift worked FLEX Bonus : $35 PER shift worked.
POSITION SUMMARY : Responsible for delivering person centered care based on the needs and interests of residents and members while preserving their dignity and quality of life.
As a participant in the FLEX PRN CNA Program, in addition to the responsibilities outlined in the CNA job description, must commute to two sister community campuses on an "as needed" basis. I understand that my "HOME" community is assigned and communicated. Additionally, to maintain active employment status with the Company, I agree to work at both campuses as needed and as assigned, and to work in any level of care as needed and as assigned, including but not limited to Skilled Nursing, Memory Care or Assisted Living. Must be "on call" at least 2 weekend days per month (a Friday, Saturday or Sunday). Must work at least sixteen (16) hours a week.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Assist residents with activities of daily living which include, but are not limited to, personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, transporting, and transfers.
- Assists residents with dining to include escorting, transferring, order taking, serving, feeding, meal preparation, and clean up.
- Assist with housekeeping services, including but not limited to, bed making, trash removal, laundry, room and bathroom cleaning as needed, and requests from residents.
- Leads and assists with life enrichment activities with guidance and support from Life Enrichment Leaders and Supervisors. May include, but is not limited to, activities, craft / game groups, life skills, daily pleasures, and one on one interaction.
- Escort residents to scheduled programming. Could participate in outings and / or day trips. Encourages daily participating in scheduled programming.
- Take and record vital signs and weights as ordered or required by regulations.
- Participates in and attends all in-service training and education programs as scheduled.
- Other duties as assigned.
