Job Description
A PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) is responsible for providing basic care to patients under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse. The CNA will assist patients with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating. They will also take vital signs, record patient information, and assist with medical procedures as needed.
The PRN CNA will work on an as-needed basis, filling in for regular staff members who are absent or on vacation. They may work in a variety of healthcare settings, including hospitals, nursing homes, and assisted living facilities.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
- Certification as a CNA in the state of Michigan
- Current CPR certification
- Ability to lift and move patients as needed
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
