- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting principles.- Recording day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.- Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records.- Reconciling entries into the accounting system.- Preparing and monitoring financial reports.- Processing accounts payable and receivable.- Managing payroll processing and ensuring timely payments.- Conducting regular financial audits and resolving discrepancies.- Assisting with budget preparation and financial forecasting.- Providing support during financial audits and tax preparations.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven bookkeeping experience.- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles.- Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software such as QuickBooks.- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.- Excellent organizational and time management skills.- Strong communication skills.- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity.
Education and Experience:
