About the Job:
We are seeking a skilled Automotive Diagnostic Calibration Specialist to join our team at Brightwing. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing best practice calibration solutions and performing diagnostic verification testing.
The ideal candidate will have experience with automotive diagnostic systems, including familiarity with industry-standard calibration tools such as ETAS INCA, MatLab, and CANalyzer. They will also be proficient in utilizing multi-functional toolchains, including company-developed calibration tools like I-Box, DC Plot, and HIL testers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing and implementing calibration solutions that meet system functional objectives
- Managing technical aspects of OBD diagnostic calibrations to meet CARB regulations
- Identifying system requirements during system hardware design to ensure a robust diagnostic system
- Utilizing standard instrumentation toolsets for data acquisition, storage, and analysis
- Calibrating diagnostic thresholds to meet CARB regulations
- Providing regular overview summaries and detailed reports on specific assignments
- Traveling 4-8 weeks throughout the year for system validation/verification
