As a Snow Removal Equipment Operator, you may operate a variety of heavy equipment, including, but not limited to Snowplow and Salt Truck, Skid Steers, Front End Loaders, Snow Rators, Tractors, Backhoes, among other wheel loader equipment.

Responsibilities, include, but not limited to

• Remove snow safely and efficiently from commercial properties including but not limited to multi-family locations, parking lots, and the exteriors of high trafficked facilities using, Skid Steer, Backhoe, Wheel Loader, Front End Loader, Snow Rator, Tractor, or using plow blade attachments
• Operate heavy equipment to clear roadways, loading areas, docks, parking lots, among others in winter conditions including snow, snow / rain mix, extreme weather and temperatures
• Removes snow to create a safe pathway for the public, pedestrians, and traffic
• Report to assigned branch, or location within time frame given
• Be on call during the winter months for all snow and ice events
• May assist during a snow and ice event with by operating other snow or salt spreading equipment
• Ensures work is being conducted in a safe manner, and maintains work areas safe for the employee, the customer, public and the environment.
• Perform at a high and safe level of productivity
