Business Analyst - Power BI Subject Matter Expert

Responsibilities:
· Experience translating goals and requirements into actionable training steps for Power BI reports and dashboards.
· Ensuring the accuracy and quality of training used in Power BI reports and dashboards.
· Collaborating with stakeholders and training team to understand business goals and data requirements.
· Helping develop a crosswalk to show what staff are accustomed to seeing versus what it will look like in Power BI.
· Providing guidance on setting templates and standards for the BI framework (or translating existing Business Object standards to Power BI).
· Providing Power BI subject matter expertise for one-on-one coaching and office hours during and after training initiatives.
· Providing SME support to analytical staff in developing and utilizing reporting tools.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications:
· Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of Power BI, DAX, and Power Query.
· Project Leadership: Previous experience leading a transition from SAP to Power BI.
· Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex data sets and derive actionable insights.
· Communication: Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
· Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills to address data-related challenges.
· Experience: Previous experience in business analysis and data visualization, preferably with Power BI.
· Training: Experience in training a strong plus.
Education:
· Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
· Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate are a plus.
