Description
The Provider Enrollment Mailroom Clerk is responsible for tracking, distributing, and monitoring provider enrollment applications received both electronically and by mail. This role involves assigning tracking numbers, ensuring accurate data entry, and maintaining detailed records in alignment with program and contract requirements. The Clerk also organizes and updates provider files, meets unit goals, and performs various administrative tasks to support the team and department.
**This position operates on a hybrid schedule, requiring the employee to come to the office two to three times per week.**
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, data enter, and process all provider enrollment applications and related documents.
- Assign tracking numbers to enrollment applications and load them into the system for processing.
- Prepare and maintain provider folders and files, ensuring all updates and enrollments are properly documented and stored.
- Sort, distribute, and file incoming mail efficiently and accurately.
- Compile, prepare, and submit reports on time.
- Record information into computer databases, spreadsheets, and other systems.
- Track inventory and manage office supplies.
- Ensure compliance with administrative procedures and regulations.
- Assist team members with enrollment-related tasks and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Provider Enrollment Supervisor.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required
- Previous experience in a similar role or administrative position is preferred.
