Role Description
This is a contract role for an Endpoint Engineer, located on-site in the Washington DC-Baltimore Area. The Endpoint Engineer will be responsible for managing and supporting endpoint devices, ensuring their security, functionality, and performance. Daily tasks include configuring and maintaining endpoint systems, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, deploying software updates, and collaborating with IT teams to enhance endpoint security measures.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in managing and configuring endpoint devices and systems
- Experience with troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues
- Knowledge of deploying and managing software updates
- Strong understanding of endpoint security practices and measures
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work collaboratively with IT teams and other stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A or Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are a plus
