Job Description
We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, and experienced Sr. Software Engineer to join the Data and Integration Engineering department. This role involves hands-on experience in design, development
administration, and support for a) Boomi application-to-application, ETL, B2B, SQL, and API integrations in complex environments. The Sr. Boomi Integration Support Engineer must have strong interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with internal customers, colleagues, and managers. Engaging with customers is a key aspect of this role, along with the ability to manage work intake and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Analyze, Design, develop, document, support and maintain Boomi Integration solutions
- Monitor and maintain Boomi integrations and API’s ensure smooth operation and minimal downtime.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration failures, performance bottlenecks, and connectivity challenges.
- Analyze and debug integration errors by reviewing process logs, error messages, and system behavior.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance and optimize integration workflows.
- Implement fixes and enhancements to existing Boomi processes while ensuring compliance with best practices.
- Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and provide long-term solutions for recurring integration issues.
- Coordinate with business stakeholders to understand integration requirements and provide support accordingly.
- Maintain documentation of integration processes, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with enterprise policies and standards.
- Preferred experience with Swagger, REST, SOAP, MQ, JSON, and Microservices.
- Strong understanding of various data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, and databases.
- Knowledge of communication protocols such as S/FTP/S, HTTP/S, File I/O, AS2, and VAN.
- Extensive work with various connectors such as SF, WD, SNOW, DB, and SFTP.
- Solid understanding of Agile/Lean methodology.
- Professional Boomi certifications in API, Core, and Architect (at least two are required).
- Experience with ERP Systems such as Infor/Salesforce/Workday/ERP integrations is essential
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related scientific/technical field, or equivalent experience.
· Minimum of 8 years of experience in the Information Technology industry.
· Over 6 years of experience with the Boomi AtomSphere Platform.
· Over 2 years of experience in the retail, supply chain, and logistics industry.
· Experience working in multi-business and cross-functional teams.
· Skilled in real-time, batch, and ETL integration implementations.
· Extensive hands-on experience with the Boomi Atmosphere, including:
- Boomi platform architecture
o Boomi Atom Clouds, Local Atoms, and Molecules
o API security
o API portal and management
· Experienced in Agile project execution (Kanban and SCRUM).
· Strong expertise in Boomi Process Development, Deployment, and Maintenance.
· Experience with Boomi connectors (Salesforce, Kafka, SQL, REST, SOAP, SFTP, FTP, etc..) and troubleshooting integrations.
· Understanding data formats such as XML, JSON, Flat Files, and EDI.
· Proficiency in SQL queries for debugging and data validation.
· Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises integration scenarios.
· Experience in error handling, retry mechanisms, logging, and alerting in Boomi.
· Knowledge of integration best practices, performance tuning, and API security protocols.
· Working experience in Java, Java Script, SQL, CI/CD and DevOps engineering
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
· Supply chain or retail experience is essential.

Pay: $55.00 - $60.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
