Title: L1 Support Technician
Location: Lewiston, ME/Bangor, ME/New Hampshire (On-site for 2 months)
Duration: Long-term Contract
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Networking, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (OSI Model, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Routing, VLANs, etc.).
- Familiarity with networking hardware (routers, switches, firewalls, etc.).
- Experience with network diagnostic tools (ping, traceroute, nslookup, etc.).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently and accurately while maintaining a customer-focused mindset.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
- At least 1-2 years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role or IT helpdesk with a focus on networking support.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $10.00 - $14.00 per hour
