Our client, an Am 100 law firm, is looking for a junior to mid-level associate with 2-3 years of experience to join the Taxation Practice Group in Boston, New York, or Washington DC.
The ideal candidate will have experience in tax-related matters concerning fund formation, investment management transactions, and partnership taxation. Additional experience in mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and transactional tax matters representing both buyers and sellers is preferred. Skills in entity choice, LLC agreements, and transactional tax work are advantageous. Candidates must possess strong writing, communication, and interpersonal skills.
We seek a dynamic and highly motivated associate who is adaptable, capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines, and eager to contribute to a team. A positive attitude, a willingness to learn and improve, and a commitment to client service are crucial. Applicants must have excellent academic credentials, AmLaw 100 experience is strongly preferred.
Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-accredited law school, be in good standing, and an active member of the bar in the jurisdiction where they are admitted. Timely admission to the state bar in the office of hire is required.
