Role Overview :

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Equipment Shop Technician to join our team. This hands-on role focuses on the assembly of circuit breaker panel orders, assisting in order preparation, loading / unloading, and performing quality control checks to ensure compliance with company standards. Preparing, sanding, and painting equipment components to meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Order Preparation and Assembly Support :

  • Assist in the assembly of circuit breaker panel orders, ensuring all components meet specifications.
  • Organize, package, and label products for shipment.

2. Equipment Preparation and Finishing :

  • Perform sanding, painting, and metalwork to achieve high-quality finishes on equipment components.
  • Follow preparation and finishing specifications to ensure consistency in product appearance and durability.

    • 3. Loading / Unloading and Quality Assurance :

  • Safely load and unload trucks, ensuring the accuracy of shipments.
  • Conduct quality control checks on finished products and orders to verify compliance with standards.

    • 4. Process Improvement and Collaboration :

  • Work collaboratively with team members to enhance finishing and assembly processes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols and company procedures.

    • Key Measurable Outcomes :

  • Maintain a 98% quality rating in sanding, painting, and finishing tasks.
  • Ensure 95% on-time order preparation and shipment completion .

    • Core Competencies :

  • Technical Skills : Expertise in sanding, painting, surface finishing, and assembly techniques.
  • Attention to Detail : Precision in achieving consistent, high-quality results.
  • Team Collaboration : Ability to work effectively with others to achieve shared goals.

    • Qualifications :

  • Proven experience in sanding, painting, or metalwork.
  • Familiarity with tools and equipment for finishing and assembly.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and meet specific standards.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift and handle equipment safely.
