Brilliant General Maintenance is seeking for an experienced Business Finance Analyst to join the team!
Main Responsibilities and Tasks:
The Business Finance Analyst will:
- Track invoices and ensure spending is invoiced on time - Follow up with
team members and vendors to address delays
- Submit PO requests and ensure timely completion of approvals -
escalate to management team as needed to address delays
- Collect data and support the monthly and quarterly closing roll-up
process, including reporting to BU leadership, Org finance and
Corporate finance
- Track spend on a regular basis (weekly, monthly, quarterly) - Monitor
trends and key performance indicators
- Track performance to projections & budget - highlight deviations to
management team
- Identify abnormal items, provide analysis of root causes and
suggestions to management
- Assists in the development and maintenance of procedures for all
financial planning and inventory transactions; recommends changes
when appropriate.
- Assist yearly internal and external budget preparation processes by
consolidating inputs from team members and supporting Management
and Finance reviews
- Works cross functionally within the Accounting/Finance department and
other internal departments to ensure proper reporting and adherence to
established GAAP standards and internal policies
Qualifications:
Education Required:
Required: Bachelor’s or Associate degree in Accounting, Finance,
Business or related discipline.
Experience Required:
Required: Three years of previous cost accounting, financial planning and
analysis experience.
Desired:
- Experience handling similar responsibilities in a manufacturing and/or
customer-service operation. Audit experience is a plus.
- Technical and Professional skills required:
- Critical thinking skills including the ability to identify and resolve
moderately complex issues.
- Demonstrated proficiency with computer software to include MS
Office (Excel), Tableau, E-Mail, and ERP/financial accounting
systems. (SAP work experience is a plus)
- Ability to identify and resolve moderately complex issues.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to prioritize and multi-task effectively.
- Cooperative – work well with others.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Positive attitude and energy.
- High attention to detail.
- Good organization skills.
