Title : Business Analyst application & system integration
Location : Deerfield Beach, FL
Long-Term Contract (Multi-Year) and Contract-to-Hire available
Client : JM Family
MOI : onsite interview.
Manager Notes :
BA experience : 2-5 years (mid-level); 5-10 years (senior level)
Modernization program (cloud migration) - migrating apps / systems from mainframe to cloud - they are fully modernizing most of the applications currently running off mainframe data and moving to the cloud (Azure)
Very robust program (transformation, data migration work) - they are moving from mainframe so will need to revise / redo all of their processes while limiting the impact to the business
Lots of data extracts between the dealers, ensuring financials are buttoned up - working with business experts who manage this and translating this into technology / process and how the systems should behave to support all these exchanges of data
Need to be able to follow the data exchange maps and understand where processes start / end (how can they stay data compliant while modernizing)
Looking for someone that has proven experience supporting migration / implementation (complex projects)
Financial applications - experience with financial apps is a big plus (should have high-level knowledge of financial concepts like AR, AP, GL, accounting principles, etc.)
Methodology : Prior experience in Agile environment (Agile / Scrum / Kanban) - they are using a mix of Agile / Waterfall
Soft skills (personality is key) - Need someone hungry and curious; Not order takers but someone that can facilitate and ask questions
Other tech / tools : JIRA, Azure DevOps (ADO), MS Power Platform (Power Automate)
