Senior Corporate Accountant

Compensation : $100,000-$110,000 Base Bonus Full medical, dental, vision, 401(k)
Our client is a nationally operating renewable energy company. In collaboration, we are seeking a Senior Corporate Accountant. Reporting to the Controller, the Senior Corporate Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
Responsibilities
- Perform independently in the core accounting group to ensure an accurate, timely, and predictable close process.
- Critically analyze complex and judgmental accounting matters.
- Collaborate with third-party resources to complete close processes in-house.
- Partner with senior management to implement and execute internal controls over financial reporting.
- Execute controls, including account reconciliations, and support inquiries from third-party auditors.
- Proactively communicate risks, opportunities, challenges, and regular updates to accounting management.
- Participate in company-wide projects and process improvement initiatives, assessing their impact on the accounting organization.
- Leverage best practices to enhance the overall efficiency of the accounting function.
- Support strategic financial and operational initiatives.
