About The Role
- Prepare financial statements and supporting schedules as part of the quarterly close process.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
- Maintain books and records for private equity funds, including investment, cash, accrual, and capital transactions.
- Calculate benchmarks and rates of return.
- Reconcile activity and balances with third-party information, ensuring accurate valuations.
- Perform capital call and distribution calculations, prepare investor notices, and produce quarterly financial statements and capital account reports for investors.
- Experience: 2-6 years of experience in Private Equity Fund Accounting, Venture Capital Fund Accounting, Fund of Funds, or Public Accounting.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (CPA strongly preferred).
- Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Excel.
- Big Four and Private Equity experience highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- A proactive mindset with a focus on improving existing processes.
- Eager to contribute, learn, and grow in a fast-paced, expanding environment.
