Job Title: Sr. Software Quality Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA or Dallas, TX - onsite

Pay Range: $60/hr - $70/hr

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Software Quality Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in software testing and automation, a strong understanding of modern development practices, and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain comprehensive testing strategies, including functional, performance, and API testing, for both front-end and back-end components of cloud-based and client/server products.
• Lead the development and execution of automated test frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and Protractor.
• Leverage scripting and programming skills (Python, Java, PowerShell, JavaScript/TypeScript) to build scalable, robust test automation solutions.
• Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate CI/CD processes and tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) for efficient and reliable software delivery pipelines.
• Drive quality assurance best practices in Agile environments, ensuring alignment with Scrum methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Conduct performance testing and database testing using SQL/NoSQL solutions to identify and resolve system bottlenecks.
• Perform detailed analysis of software solutions, providing insights on technical and usability aspects to enhance product quality and user satisfaction.
• Maintain and improve source control management processes with tools such as Git.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a Technical Discipline or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 10 years of professional software testing experience.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and a minimum of 7 years of experience with Java or C#.
• At least 3-5 years of experience with Python, emphasizing testing frameworks and automation.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience with JavaScript or TypeScript, particularly in test automation.
• Expertise in API testing, performance testing, and database testing concepts.
• Mastery of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI.
• Proven experience with Agile development practices, including Scrum, and associated tools.
• Demonstrated expertise in front-end, back-end, and API testing for web-based applications.

Preferred Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of Quality Assurance processes, procedures, and standards.
• Ability to understand and analyze complex technical details of software solutions, ensuring high usability and quality standards.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Customer-centric approach with a commitment to internal and external client satisfaction.
• Attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
