What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Worker/Production Worker position at Brimar Industries?
We are seeking warehouse workers to join our team in Jessup, PA! This position will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our brand new warehouse. You will be responsible for various tasks related to order fulfillment, picking, shipping, maintaining a safe and organized warehouse environment.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Pulls and packs products to fulfill large customer orders and ensures they have the right items and that nothing is damaged or missing from the order before it ships out.
- Adheres custom and reflective decals to traffic cones.
- Ships packages out of the warehouse necessary.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Maintains an accurate log sheet of daily moves, scanning inventory, and counting accurately.
- Engages with vendors and drivers with a positive attitude.
- Operate equipment to pick and pack orders accurately
- Utilize forklift for heavy lifting and materials handling
- Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be able to list at least 50 lbs
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to bend, stoop, reach constantly
- Previous experience working in a warehouse setting required
- Forklift certification required. (If expired we will recertify.)
- Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment
- Familiarity with a warehouse management system for inventory control
- A strong sense of urgency and time organization is must
- The ability to work independently and within a team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
