Position Summary
The Director of Community GTM leads the go-to-market and revenue growth strategy for the Community Fire business unit within Rural Metro Fire. This role is responsible for sales, marketing, customer experience, and partnerships, working cross-functionally to drive performance and expand market reach.
Position Essential Functions
- Lead all revenue-generating activities for the community fire business unit, including the development and execution of the go-to-market strategy
- Own and optimize the customer experience across applicable business unit
- Oversee all marketing initiatives and campaigns across multiple channels, including digital and direct mail
- Manage the community sales team to ensure strategic alignment and performance excellence
- Supervise call center operations to support customer inquiries and service delivery
- Direct and coordinate efforts of public information officers within each market
- Establish and manage strategic partnerships with insurance carriers, mortgage lenders, and other key partners to support growth and customer engagement
- Manage relationships with external vendors and contractors, including marketing agencies
- Collaborate closely with the technology team to streamline customer experience and ensure robust data availability for decision making
- Conduct market analysis to identify untapped customer segments and growth potential
- Perform pricing analysis to ensure competitiveness and profitability
- Manage public relations efforts to build community trust and brand awareness
- Create and maintain key performance dashboards and reporting tools to support leadership decision-making
- Provide support for marketing initiatives in other verticals within the organization
- Collaborate with local fire chiefs responsible for operations
Position Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, public administration, or related field
- 8 years of experience in revenue ownership, business operations, or general management, preferably in a service-oriented or public safety industry
- Proven experience executing go-to-market strategies and driving revenue growth
- Strong background in sales or marketing leadership, including team management and performance optimization
- Experience with government relations or interacting with local municipalities
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Demonstrated success in customer experience management and process Improvement
- Experience managing cross-functional teams, including call centers, marketing, sales, and PR
- Prior experience working with or managing external vendors and marketing agencies
- Familiarity with public relations, media engagement, and brand reputation management
- Strong understanding of data analysis, including pricing, market sizing, and reporting metrics
- Experience working collaboratively with technical teams to improve customer experience and ensure data integrity
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized and self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and data visualization tools is preferred
