Supervisor - Histology and Cytology
Location : southern New Hampshire
Our client is a member of the largest provider of comprehensive healthcare services in Southern New Hampshire.
Responsible for technical and scientific oversight of the Histology (10.3 FTE’s) and Cytology (2.7 FTE’s) laboratory department. Provide supervision and ensure proficiency and quality control of method selection, verification of procedures, resolution of technical problems, remedial actions as warranted and release of test results.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Biology, Science or related field OR an equivalent combination of experience and education required.
5 years of experience in an accredited histology or cytology laboratory required.
Prior supervisory experience preferred.
HTL or CT certification ASCP required, Histotechnologist preferred.
