Prenatal Care Coordinator (Nurse Practitioner / Nurse Midwife) Contract

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality outpatient care, focusing on the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in an urgent care setting. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Conduct comprehensive physical examinations to assess patient health and medical history.
• Perform outpatient procedures including specimen collection and processing.
• Administer injections and IV insertions as required for patient treatment.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with healthcare standards.
• Provide family planning services and education to patients.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on preventive care and health management strategies.

Qualifications

• Valid Nurse Practitioner license with certification in urgent care or family practice preferred.
• Experience in an outpatient medical office setting is highly desirable.
• Proficient in performing physical examinations and medical documentation.
• Familiarity with specimen collection processing and standards of care.
• Demonstrated experience administering injections and performing IV insertions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
