The Application Architect for Oracle Supply Chain Management (SCM) is a key leadership role responsible for executing the overall strategy, configuration, and operational support of Brinker's Oracle Cloud SCM (SaaS) suite. This role blends strategic ownership with hands-on expertise across core modules including Order Management, Procurement, Inventory, and Demand Management?critical to the procurement and tracking of services across Brinker's business partners.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical knowledge of Oracle SCM applications, strong cross-functional collaboration skills, and a focus on delivering solutions aligned with stakeholder needs and business priorities. This individual will operate in a fast-paced environment, leading release cycles, driving process improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior analysts to elevate team performance and system effectiveness.

This individual will operate in a fast-paced environment, leading release cycles, driving process improvement initiatives, and mentoring junior analysts to elevate team performance and system effectiveness.
Your Key Job Functions
- Manage and support Cloud Supply Chain Application suite, including all SCM modules - Inventory, Procurement, Demand Management, Order Management, ensuring alignment with business priorities
- Provide strategic thought leadership to design scalable, technically sound Oracle solutions that meet the business and technical objectives and are representative of leading industry best practices
- Research emerging trends in technology and the restaurant industry to determine, assess and communicate the impacts, trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of IT SCM solutions
- Architect solutions for business challenges with application functionality in Oracle SCM modules & PaaS framework
- Support cyclical business processes for Supply Chain function including contract renewals, restaurant hardware refreshes, and product rollouts
- Support release management cycle for quarterly release upgrades from Oracle - review release notes, guide functional teams through upcoming changes and testing
- Participate in requirements gathering for both application changes and integration development, ensuring solutions reflect stakeholder needs
- Strong analytical skills; problem solving and follow through with sense of accountability
- Ability to lead discussions with Technical teams and Business Leaders
- Build knowledge of Oracle Cloud application roadmap to maintain strategic oversight in support of the business
- Ability to work with limited supervision and provide guidance for junior team members
- Provide techno-functional documentation as needed for new and existing applications
- Lead and develop a team of supply chain analysts, fostering continuous improvement and professional development
What You Bring to the Team
- Bachelor's degree / Computer Science or Computer Information Systems preferred
- 5-10 years of IT application experience with large organization (retail/restaurant industry preferred)
- 5 years of technical experience with Oracle SCM SaaS applications
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills necessary for navigating change with positive attitude, helping clients define business solutions, and working effectively with IT senior management.
- Proficient experience with cloud technology strategies and roadmaps
- Prior experience working with vendors and 3rd party resources to manage deliverables
