Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities are to set up and operate production runs.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Must be proficient with operating and setting up the CNC Grinding Equipment with extensive understanding of cylindrical grinding techniques, preferably on Studer and Okamoto
- Familiarity with external, internal, and surface grinding
- Working knowledge of a variety of materials, abrasives, and dressing technology
- Ability to work well under pressure, to adhere to deadlines and the ability to be flexible
- Ability to operate assigned equipment safely and efficiently
- Ability to take direction very well and get along with others
- Outstanding punctuality and attendance
- CNC Grinding Machinist experience preferred, but will consider a trainee
