Overview
Position: IT Desktop Support
Brinkmann Constructors is hiring an experienced IT Desktop Support Specialist to provide support for end users across all offices and remote locations. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience providing IT support for mid-to-large sized organizations. Environment is primarily a Microsoft Windows environment utilizing Office 365 and Azure.
Responsibilities
- Installing and configuring hardware, software, and peripheral for end users
- Upgrading laptop computers, including migrating user data
- Build and configuration of equipment for new hires
- Creating new user accounts in Active Directory
- Provide end user technical support in a timely manner
- Maintain support requests in ZenDesk ticketing system
- Assist with mobile device upgrades and new deployments
- Maintain Asset tracking
Qualifications
- Requires at least 5 years related work experience
- Bachelor’s degree, technical training or equivalent combination of education/experience
- Microsoft Windows 10/11 support
- iOS support skills
- Detailed oriented
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service for employees
- Microsoft Entra
- Microsoft Office 365
- Experience with Zendesk or equivalent ticketing system
- Ability to prioritize tasks
Working Conditions:
- The IT Desktop Supports work is primarily performed indoors at Brinkmann’s corporate office
- This role requires regular office hours, with potential for extended hours during reporting cycles
- Light physical effort is required, including the handling of objects up to 10 pounds and some
- Standing, walking, sitting, talking and/or hearing
