Position Overview

In this role, you will be responsible for the service, installation, and inspection of security systems, collaborating independently and with team members while providing guidance to less experienced staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Install and service low voltage systems following Brinks Home standards and safety policies.
- Lead effective communication and organization for service tasks in your area.
- Service and repair common systems while assisting senior staff with more complex systems.
- Train and support junior technicians, fostering their professional growth.
- Manage customer onboarding processes to ensure satisfaction.
- Operate relevant mechanical equipment, such as bucket trucks and scissor lifts.
- Update the status of work progress following accepted procedures.
- Complete necessary UL, FM, and Mercantile paperwork as required.
- Eagerness to learn in a fast-paced industry.
- Basic knowledge of low voltage electronic systems.
- Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with Access, Fire, Intrusion, and VST systems.
- Understanding of IT and network infrastructure.
- Experience with hand tools and power tools.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Understanding of drawings, blueprints, and job specifications.
- Aptitude for working well with individuals at all organizational levels and with customers.
- Capable of working independently with a team-oriented attitude.
- Professional appearance and adherence to dress code.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to obtain NICET I Certification.
