Job Description
Balance Innovations, a division of Brink's Incorporated, seeks a UI Engineer passionate about building innovative SaaS solutions for the retail industry. You will join a small, focused, cross-functional team working with modern web technologies (ReactJS, Node.js, and more) to deliver performant, scalable user interfaces.
What You Will Do
- Design & Develop : Implement and architect new features for our SaaS platform, ensuring high-quality user interfaces with React and GraphQL.
- End User (UX) Champion : Represent the needs of our customers at all stages of development, but especially in early UX Design phases.
- Code Reusability : Help maintain libraries, components, and shared Micro Front Ends (MFE's) that can be leveraged across multiple products, streamlining future development.
- Testing & Quality : Use unit and integration tests (Jest, RTL, Cypress) to ensure reliability and performance of UI components.
- DevOps Collaboration : Support continuous integration, deployment, and monitoring processes as part of our DevOps workflow.
- Performance Optimization : Collaborate with UX / UI teams to maintain efficient size, speed, scalability across supported browsers (primarily Chromium)
