About the Job
As a Senior Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for leading Agile Squads of 3-7 members delivering a bespoke data driven IoT system connecting thousands of devices. Focusing on people and technical management, you will play a crucial role in delivering key projects and acting as a technical reference for you team. Leading a cross-functional team, you will have the responsibility in setting the technical direction and working with key stakeholders to outline priorities and continually plan for the future.
The role is not hands-on, but you will be expected to perform pair programming sessions and be active within the architectural design and high-level lifecycle areas.
About You
Ideally you would have previously led multiple teams with a proven record delivering products. Coming from a software engineering background, you will need to possess a strong understanding on full software development lifecycle delivery and be able to jump into the code base to set standards and solve bottlenecks in production.
