What are the responsibilities and job description for the Dining Server Associate- Part Time | Morning and lunch position at Brio Living Services?
Shifts: 6:30am-2pm and 11:00 am-2:00 pm
Schedule: Part Time 16 hours or less | Every other weekend | Main Dining Room
Overview
The Dietary Aide / Server provides exceptional customer service and brightens the day of older adults through positive interactions.
What you’ll do
- Serve meals to residents with a smile and a friendly demeanor
- Take and ensure accuracy of orders
- Cater to special dietary requirements and restrictions (i.e. ground or pureed diets)
- Watch tickets and run a tray line
- Clear tables and maintain a clean and organized dining area
What it takes
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is helpful, but not required
- Ability to participate in frequent stooping and bending, lifting up to fifty (50) pounds
