What You’ll Do in This Role:
As a Household Homemaker you will be responsible for brightening the lives of older adults by delivering exceptional customer service and creating meaningful connections. In this role, you’ll handle a variety of dining services, including household cooking, kitchen assistance, and related activities, all while fostering a warm, welcoming environment.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create an enjoyable dining experience, serving residents and their guests
- Assists with serving resident meals, snacks, and nourishments.
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, dining, and service area.
- Prepare food for household meals and snacks that are healthy and appetizing.
- Plans and facilitates activities for residents involve food preparation or other activities specific to the kitchen.
✅ What You’ll Need:
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Prior experience as a waiter/waitress or server in a restaurant, nursing home, or retirement community serving older adults is helpful, but not required.
- Certification in Food Handling, desired.
- Experience in commercial food preparation and services, desired.
- Certification in Dining Assistant or CNA, desired.
- Ability to lift 35 pounds.
